Maxim Galkin, as Meladze, continued the phrase “Glory to Ukraine” in Dubai

Artist Maxim Galkin, who left Russia (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation), either supported, or performed in unison with singer Valery Meladze. Also in Dubai, also at a concert, he entered into a dialogue with the public and continued the phrase “Glory to Ukraine”, which is considered nationalist in the Russian Federation. Recordings from the concert have gone viral on social media.

“I was asked to be neutral, but how can I be neutral? .. – Galkin said from the stage, at that moment someone from the audience shouted “Glory to Ukraine!” – What? Glory to the heroes.”

Meladze found himself in the same situation the other day, and his interaction with the public in this format led to a scandal in Russia. The artist was criticized in social networks and the media, in parliament they demanded punishment for him up to the deprivation of citizenship. From the very beginning of the Russian special operation, Meladze made it clear that he did not support the SVO, but at the same time he tried not to make loud statements and emphasized that he did not want to hate anyone and only wished peace and goodness to all people and peoples without exception. Galkin spoke more frankly, harshly criticizing the Russian authorities.

Almost simultaneously with Galkin and Meladze, at the New Year holidays, singer Oleg Gazmanov, known for his patriotic position and taking part in various events in support of Russian foreign policy, was seen in Dubai. The audience tried to get an answer from the artist about his personal political position and explain why he came to the UAE, but Gazmanov did not talk to ill-wishers, asking “let rest”.
