Minister Sergey Kravtsov received a reprimand for being late from Valentina Matvienko
Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko reprimanded Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov for being late for a meeting of the Presidential Council on the implementation of state policy in the field of protecting families and children. Recalling the remarks made to sluggish schoolgirls, Matviyenko noted that the council was waiting for a report from the minister.
“We agreed that the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Sergeevich Kravtsov will make a report today … Sergey Sergeyevich, let me make a remark for being late. Just like teachers do to schoolchildren, I have to do this for you. It is not customary in our council to be late. Please continue to don’t do this,” Valentina Matviyenko, head of the Ministry of Education, pointed out sternly.
In response to the remark, Kravtsov apologized. It is not yet known what assessment the speaker of the Federation Council received from the minister’s report.
