Matviychuk doubted Zelensky’s plans to declare war on Russia

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky plans to officially declare war on Russia and begin general mobilization in the country at the end of autumn, former deputy of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva wrote with reference to his sources. Military expert, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, in a conversation with MK, explained what will change if the Ukrainian leader decides to declare war, and how many more combat-ready soldiers Ukraine can really muster.

According to Ilya Kiva, such a step will help Zelensky return the interest of the world community to the events in Ukraine and will force NATO countries to more actively provide assistance to Kyiv. This will also allow “to destroy, erase the protest population and make it impossible to hold elections” in Ukraine. “Formally, Zelensky has the basis for this and everything is already ready for this step,” Kiva believes.

Despite the colossal losses of the Ukrainian army, which are already recognized by Western analysts, in August the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev, and a little earlier the former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Aleksey Reznikov, stated that the mobilization plan approved by parliament in the country has not yet been fully implemented, and the mobilization potential Ukraine allows for additional recruitment of men of military age into the army without making changes to legislation and without declaring war.

According to Anatoly Matviychuk, if Zelensky really goes to declare war, this will completely change the situation in Ukraine.

“If Zelensky officially declares war, this will mean that Ukraine recognizes Russia as its enemy,” the expert believes. – And this will no longer be just a conflict, but a full-scale war.

Consequently, many countries that are currently providing assistance to Ukraine will have to make a decision. If they enter into direct confrontation with our country, then we directly begin confrontation with them. There is no other way.

This will no longer be some kind of humanitarian corridors or some kind of incomprehensible assistance, but the direct inclusion of Western countries in military operations.

Why hasn’t Zelensky declared war on us yet? Yes, because a declaration of war entails absolute financial, economic, and political responsibility for everything that happens. For war crimes, for the destruction of the environment, for the destruction of infrastructure. Responsibility lies with the person who declared war.

Therefore, I think Zelensky is bluffing. Although, given his periodically clouded mind, he may not have meant war specifically, but used this term to imply the declaration of martial law. This is quite possible.

Within the framework of state policy, then there will really be no elections; the President of Ukraine will remain in his seat. As for general mobilization, in my opinion, the Kiev regime has already exhausted the resources that were in the country. Now the option of replacing retired men with women is being seriously considered. Place them in the positions of company commanders, platoon commanders, and create female tank crews. In general, use women at the front everywhere.

Therefore, I believe that Zelensky’s statements are the agony of the regime. He either really does not understand what is really happening, or he understands, but does not know what to do next.
