Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko said that military journalist Maxim Fomin, known under the pseudonym Vladlen Tatarsky, shaped the people’s understanding of the special military operation and did a lot for Russia’s future victory in it.
Matvienko believes that he became a target for enemies “because of his bright and truthful publications.”
“Vladlen not only fought in the militia, he collected help for our soldiers, but, most importantly, he shaped the people’s understanding of the special operation. And, I’m sure, he did a lot for our future victory, ”concluded in her Telegram channel.
Recall, earlier it was reported that war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) died as a result of the explosion, and 32 people were injured.
An explosive device in a cafe located on Universitetskaya embankment, according to preliminary information, was brought by one of the visitors. The explosive device was hidden in a figurine – a gift to Tatarsky.
Upon the fact of the explosion, law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case under the article on murder in a generally dangerous way.
