Maternity capital in Kamchatka will be indexed by 7.5% from February 1, 2024. About it informs press service of the regional government.
“Maternity capital for the first child will be more than 630 thousand rubles, and for the second – more than 830 thousand rubles…,” the press service quotes the deputy chairman of the government of the Kamchatka Territory, Victoria Sivak.
According to her, sometimes part of the family’s capital is used for various purposes and a balance is left for future expenses. Sivak clarified that this balance of maternity capital will also be indexed.
Maternity capital has been issued to families since 2007. At first, those who had a second child was born or adopted, as well as any subsequent child, if the right to capital had not previously arisen or was not formalized, were entitled to such a measure of state support. From January 1, 2020, families receive maternity capital at the birth of their first baby.
