Mass rallies began in Belgrade on the anniversary of NATO aggression against Yugoslavia
On the anniversary of the start of the North Atlantic Alliance’s aggression against Yugoslavia, citizens of Serbia gathered at Republic Square in the center of Belgrade for a mass rally against NATO. This is reported by journalists located in the Serbian capital.
Activists came to the building of the National Museum with flags on which various slogans were visible: Death to NATO-fascists, Death to imperialism. In addition, the protesters brought to the rally a large banner with the inscription: “NATO is an occupier, get out of Serbia!”
Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, on the 25th anniversary of the NATO intervention, said that the country was then attacked by “19 of the most powerful and powerful countries”, without any right to do so and without a decision of the UN Security Council.
