All public holiday events were canceled in the border Buturlinovsky district of the Voronezh region, the district administration reported. This decision was made because of the shelling of Belgorod that occurred the day before, the victims of which were become 24 people.
“In connection with the tragic events that occurred in Belgorod, the anti-terrorist commission of the Buturlinovsky district decided to cancel all mass festive events on the territory of the municipality… We ask all residents of the district to treat these measures with understanding!” – the district administration reported in Telegram.
Yesterday, December 30, Belgorod came under fire from Ukraine. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attack was carried out by two Vilkha missiles in cluster ammunition, as well as Czech-made Vampire MLRS rockets. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case.
Blagoveshchensk and Vladivostok Fireworks displays in support of Belgorod were canceled. Similar measures were taken in Magadan and in large populated areas Kamchatka.
