Mash: Kostomarov’s leg can be amputated to the knee

Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov may have his knee amputated due to progressive gangrene. Doctors were forced to postpone the operation several times, as they fear that the athlete is in too serious a condition and may not undergo surgery.
