Mash: Igor Nikolaev was banned from alcohol after heart surgery

Singer and composer Igor Nikolaev was decided to undergo heart surgery – coronary artery bypass grafting – due to a violation of the blood supply to the myocardium diagnosed from the images, writes Mash.

According to the channel, the musician was strictly “forbidden to drink for love.” Alcohol can cause new health problems.

It is noted that Nikolaev is disconnected from the ventilator and is breathing on his own, his condition remains stable and serious. When he gets better, doctors will transfer him to a regular ward. According to forecasts, discharge could take place “in a couple of weeks.”
