Within the framework of the “Za Sambo” project of the All-Russian political party “United Russia”, a martial arts school was opened in Makeevka of the DPR. This was told by the Secretary of the General Council of the party Andrei Turchak.
According to Turchak, one of the key tasks of United Russia was the opening of new gyms for wrestling and the involvement of young people in sports.
The hall of the school was opened in the city’s sports center “Sports for All” and the first training session was held by two-time world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu Jeff Monson. The athlete is a member of United Russia.
Previously it was reported that Donetsk football team “Shakhtar” reached the quarterfinals of the winter championship of the Rostov region.
