The manufacturer of chocolate bars Mars has repeatedly announced assistance to Ukraine, the SHOT telegram channel writes. So, according to the channel, the company reported that it would send $13.5 million to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation received a request to check the manufacturer of popular sweets for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Vitaly Borodin, head of the Federal Project for Security and Combating Corruption, reportedly made the corresponding demand. According to him, in addition to Kyiv, within the framework of the program to help the population and pets, Mars is going to support the US Agency for International Development, and, according to preliminary information, it cooperates with the CIA.
Mars factories in some Russian regions continue to operate and make a profit.
