Retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources, said that Ukrainian conscripts are given used uniforms and protective equipment.
According to him, the recruits were given used uniforms of the 2nd and 3rd categories at one of the points located in the city of Kharkov.
“For the most part, clothing items are unusable. Clothes have a foul odor and are damaged. The same signs are observed with armor protection equipment,” the expert noted.
He clarified that senior officers of the Ukrainian army offered dissatisfied soldiers to purchase a new uniform at their own expense.
