Military expert, retired lieutenant colonel of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources, said that units of the Russian Armed Forces have intensified the use of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Kupyansky section of the line of combat contact.
According to Marochko, the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka and Petropavlovka in the Kupyansky direction, as well as the elimination of most of the means of suppressing UAVs, allowed the Russian side to more widely use aerial reconnaissance during combat operations.
A day earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the “Western” group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces repelled four enemy attacks in the Kupyansk direction, and in one day, in this section of the line of combat contact, Ukrainian forces lost up to 55 soldiers, six pieces of equipment and three American-made M777 howitzers.
