Marochko: Western equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine gets stuck in the snow in the Northern Military District zone
Retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources, said that Western military equipment, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces have, is stuck in snow drifts in a number of areas in the area of the Northern Military District.
“Snow drifts that formed in some areas paralyzed the evacuation, supply and rotation activities of the Ukrainian military on the line of combat contact,” Marochko noted.
He clarified that one of the main problems was the poor maneuverability of Western military equipment in loose snow. This applies to both tracked and wheeled vehicles
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to solve this problem using graders, evacuation tractors and Soviet equipment.
