Marko Nikolic started his coaching career in Serbia. The first team he coached was the youth team of the Rad football club from Belgrade. In Serbia, he also coached Vojvodina and Partizan.
From May 2020 to October 2021, Mr. Nikolic was the head coach of Lokomotiv Moscow. With the team, the Serbian specialist won the Russian Cup. Under his leadership, Lokomotiv finished second in the Premier League in the 2019/2020 season and third in the 2020/2021 season.
This season, Dynamo is in seventh place in the RPL with 42 points.
