Alexander Shirvindt’s colleagues and friends, stage stars, and representatives of the capital’s theater and cultural management continue to come to the Satire Theater.

In addition to Alexander Kibovsky, former head of the department of culture, rector of GITIS Grigory Zaslavsky, Philip Kirkorov, Leonid Kanevsky and his wife, Lenkom director Mark Varshaver was seen on stage.

Mark Grigorievich approached the coffin of the deceased with flowers; Warshaver was accompanied by the President’s Special Representative for International Cultural Cooperation, Mikhail Shvydkoy.

“For three days our theater cried,” Yuri Vasiliev, who worked with Shirvindt for almost half a century together, addressed the mourners with these words.

Vasiliev said that he came in a special suit, donated by Alexander Anatolyevich.

“I promised to come in this suit for his 90th birthday,” the actor said sadly.
