Former Channel One editor Marina Ovsyannikova escaped from house arrest. This happened on the night of October 1, according to RT with reference to her ex-husband Igor Ovsyannikov.

According to him, the ex-wife, along with their 11-year-old daughter, fled in an unknown direction. He does not know exactly where Ovsyannikova could have gone.

Previously ex-husband of the journalist wrote a statement to the police. He demanded that his 11-year-old daughter be returned to him. All due to the fact that the girl was taken away to her mother, who was already under house arrest in the criminal case of “fakes about the RF Armed Forces.”

Prior to this, Ovsyannikova stated that she intended to take her daughter and go abroad with her. Her ex-husband – a former employee of Channel One, and now an employee of RT – imposed a ban on the export of the child. Also, the girl does not have a passport.

Under the criminal article about “fakes” Ovsyannikova faces up to 10 years in prison. The criminal case was initiated after a single picket of the ex-editor on Sofiyskaya embankment.
