The final of the series “Queen of Russian Sports” in athletics took place in Yekaterinburg. The competition was attended by about 400 strongest athletes from Russia and Belarus, who competed in 36 disciplines.
The press service of the government of the KBR reported that according to the results of the tournament, the Olympic champion and a native of Kabardino-Balkaria Maria Lasitskene won third place in the high jump with a score of 1.91 meters. The first place was taken by Kristina Koroleva (1.93 m), the second place was taken by Karina Demidik from Belarus (1.93 m).
Also, within the framework of the competition, an athlete from the KBR Alexander Dobrenky won second place in the discus throw with a score of 59.88 meters.
Previously it was reported that judoists of Kabardino-Balkaria brought six medals from competitions in St. Petersburg.
