Brazilian footballer Dani Alves is accused in Spain of sexual assault, the complaint was received by the Catalan police on January 2. A source close to the investigation told AFP that the woman accuses the player of rape, and she repeated her accusation in front of a judge on Friday. Spanish media write that the alleged sexual assault took place in a popular nightclub in Barcelona on the night of December 30-31.
Dani Alves also played for Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain, Sao Paulo, Juventus and other clubs.
