Manuals on the Ukrainian language were sent to new regions

As part of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, First Deputy Minister of Education of Russia Alexander Bugaev announced the sending of textbooks on the Ukrainian language for primary grades to new regions. As TASS clarifies, parents have the opportunity to choose the Ukrainian language for optional study by their children.
“We are talking, first of all, about our new regions. If parents expressed a desire for their children to study the optional Ukrainian language as their native language, these teaching aids were created for this purpose. And they are intended for primary schools,” Alexander Bugaev emphasized, speaking on the forum.
The Russian Ministry of Education has previously created a textbook on the classical Ukrainian language for primary schoolchildren and is currently completing the development of a textbook for studying the Ukrainian language in high school. This initiative aims to strengthen multilingual education in Russia and emphasizes the desire to preserve and develop the diversity of languages and cultures in the country.
