Manny Pacquiao back for an exhibition?

Boxer Manny Pacquiao (43), world champion in six different categories, and retired from ringside since August 2021, could make a comeback. The Filipino told AFP ” start talking » about an exhibition against his former training partner, the Frenchman Jaber Zayani. The fight would take place in January 2023 in Saudi Arabia.

Pacquiao, who had bowed out after a loss to Cuban Yordenis Ugas, had previously said he did not want to return to professional boxing. He could thus join the list of big names in boxing who, after retiring, have ventured onto the exhibition circuit.
