The mammoth Mitya is already ready for this significant sporting event, standing at the crossing – he dressed up in a T-shirt with the emblem of the event. This was reported in the press service of the city administration.
“You definitely won’t pass by! Mammoth Mitya in sports equipment is waiting at the “Northern Character”, – representatives of the local authorities noted.
The process of dressing the monument was filmed and published on the Salekhard Online Telegram channel.
Mitya is the visiting card of the city on the Arctic Circle, and it has already become a tradition to dress him up in themed clothes on significant dates. For example, for the New Year, the mammoth appears in the image of Santa Claus, in the year of the World Cup in Russia, he put on a fan’s scarf and took a ball in his tusks.

Recall, athletes will have to pass 14 tests, including: jumping over sleds, thrusters with dumbbells, tilting the wheel, a 150-meter obstacle course on a trampoline. In the finale – “worm with a log”: a vertical obstacle course that must be overcome by a team bound by one chain in order to ring the victory bell.
In the evening, guests and participants of extreme games will enjoy a concert with the participation of the Yamal rock band Sabetta and the Surganova and Orchestra group, as well as a fire show and a show with flaming drums.
