Alexander Malinin ignored the demands of Saratov deputies to support the Northern Military District
In Saratov, a concert by People’s Artist of Russia Alexander Malinin took place, which was opposed by local deputies. The singer did not speak from the stage about supporting a special military operation, as parliamentarians demanded of him, writes 164.RU.
Let us remind you that earlier a number of Saratov deputies spoke out against the concert of Malinin, who did not express his position on the SVO in any way and at the same time is a People’s Artist of Ukraine.
The performer’s concert took place in front of a full house at the local drama theater. In the middle of the performance, the artist spoke very warmly about the city. He stated that he loves Saratov very much, since he has a lot connected with this city.
The publication also added that the deputies who criticized the singer remained true to their position – they were not convinced by the artist’s words about his love for the city.
Regional deputy Roman Gribov, who was initially categorically against Malinin’s concert, said that he muttered empty and stupid words from the stage and called him “an ordinary coward.”
