The Vologda deputy said that he did not propose to make life-size dolls of conscripts for their relatives
Deputy of the Vologda City Duma Mikhail Kozyrev said that unknown attackers are trying to defame him, attributing an idea that has never been expressed.
How writes Baza, a screenshot of an alleged deputy’s social network page began to spread across social networks, which demonstrated a strange initiative. According to the screenshot, at about 2 a.m. Moscow time, Kozyrev wrote on the social network that he “talked with his comrades and came up with a wonderful idea.” The idea was to give life-size dolls with their portraits to the relatives of the conscripts, “so that families could celebrate Christmas together.” It was also stated that the question was being decided whether to “make figures in full height or so as to seat them at a table.” “We will find money in the budget,” citizens were assured. The post contained the hashtags “We Are Together” and “We Don’t Abandon Our Own.”
On the afternoon of January 5, deputy Kozyrev told Baza that he had never written anything like this, and that the screenshot was the result of “Photoshop.”
The deputy added that he wrote a statement to the police. According to him, women whose photographs were used in the post also filed statements. Kozyrev believes that these are “dirty games on the part of the enemy.”
