Makarevich urged Israelis to take to the streets due to poor postal service

The musician Andrei Makarevich, who left Russia, sharply criticized the service system in Israel.

In a social network, he noted that now political passions are running high in Israel, people are demonstrating, blocking roads, discussing judicial reform. At the same time, they are not indignant and tolerate the “monstrous” work of household services.

The founder of the “Time Machine” group noticed that in Israel you will have to wait two months for any piece of paper from any office, and delivery from the store will not come on the designated day, but after a week. “They, it turns out, have the right not to deliver, but for some reason you are obliged to pay for this delivery,” the musician was indignant.

Makarevich said that he ordered the delivery of his favorite suit, boots and camera from Russia. He waited six months for delivery, and then another two months corresponded with the post office with the help of his wife, who knows Hebrew. As a result, the musician paid a fee of two thousand euros, but the Israeli post sent the parcel back to Russia safely and it got lost along the way. “Do you think they even returned the duty? Yes,” the driver said.

He then expressed surprise that the Israelis tolerate such service. “So it suits you? And if not, why don’t you take to the streets against this?” Makarevich asked.

He expressed confidence that now he would be attacked for this criticism, since in Israel it is considered bad form to talk about shortcomings if you have not lived in the country for twenty years. Makarevich admitted that he had been living in Israel for only a year and a half, but noted that he paid taxes like other citizens and were not very small. “I don’t understand why we deserve such disrespect,” Makarevich added, summing up that, as an Israeli citizen, he would like to see a solution to this particular problem in his lifetime.
