Magadan governor refused to accept relocants – Kommersant

Governor of the Magadan Region Sergei Nosov said at a meeting with teachers that Kolyma will not accept traitors and relocants. According to him, the region needs hardworking and talented people. “Kolyma does not accept vile people, does not accept traitors. And these are stereotypes or clichés, old clichés that it’s high time to get rid of, especially these clichés from the relocants of the past. Unfortunately, they do occur,” said Governor Nosov (quoted from “RIA News”).

The governor of the Magadan region called for getting rid of these clichés. According to him, “wonderful people live in Kolyma, true patriots of their country work.” “That’s why we need literate, educated and professional people here,” he added.
