French President Emmanuel Macron said that Paris has developed several plans for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics. His words are quoted by BFMTV.
“There is a plan B and even a plan C, we are preparing them in parallel,” he said.
According to Macron, in the event of a security threat, the ceremony could be limited to the area on the Seine River, on Trocadéro Square opposite the Eiffel Tower, or it could be moved to the Stade de France stadium.
Let us remind you that the Summer Olympics in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
