Macron: Moscow and Kyiv gave security guarantees for the IAEA mission at the ZNPP

The International Atomic Energy Agency has received security guarantees from Russia and Ukraine to send a mission to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron.
He noted that the day before he met with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, and also recently spoke with the presidents of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky.
“We received security guarantees from the Ukrainian and Russian sides. Now there [на ЗАЭС] an IAEA mission can be deployed, an independent mission that will be protected,” Macron told reporters.
Earlier in Kyiv they announced on disconnection of the Zaporizhzhya NPP from the Ukrainian energy networks.
