French President Emmanuel Macron called the comments of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu threatening during a conversation with his French colleague Sebastien Lecornu. Macron spoke about this at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Aquatics Center, broadcast on the page of the Elysee Palace in X.
According to Macron, Lecornu prepared a report on the results of negotiations with Shoigu.
“Some of the comments from the Russian side were actually strange and threatening,” the French president said.
According to Shoigu, Russia expects that the French intelligence services are not behind the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, the Russian Ministry of Defense previously reported.
