The 21-year-old player, who has been selected for the national A team with Turkey, arrived at OL in August 2020 from Altay (Turkish D2) for 1.5 million euros. He only played ten minutes with the professional team of Olympique Lyonnais, in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France against Monaco. Lyon loaned him to Belgian club Louvain last season, where he played 32 first division matches and two in the national cup.
