Nathan Eismont, a leading researcher at the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, explained why the Russian automatic interplanetary station (AMS) Luna-25 cannot photograph the landing modules of the US Apollo spacecraft, which would confirm the landing of astronauts on the moon. According to Mr. Eismont, this is due to the chosen orbit.

However, there is the so-called “lunar conspiracy” theory, whose supporters believe that American astronauts did not land on the moon, and their landing was falsified by the government.
On August 11, 2023, Russia launched the Luna-25 interplanetary station to the Moon for the first time in almost 50 years. lunar station started from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Amur Region, its landing is expected on August 21. On August 17, Luna-25 entered lunar orbit and photographed the surface of the earth’s satellite.
