Lukashenko spoke in support of the creation of a Palestinian state

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko told reporters that the creation of a Palestinian state will contribute to achieving peace in the Middle East. His words are quoted by the agency BelTA.
According to the Belarusian leader, in the current situation there is only one way out, which is the creation of a Palestinian state. This is how the decision was made in 1947. Lukashenko considered criticism against UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on the situation in Palestine groundless, since he “said everything correctly” and people really live in “terrible conditions”; they need to create a state, which needs to be agreed upon once and for all.
As the President of Belarus noted, when there are borders, these people will live in their own state, and then they can “make claims.” Otherwise, according to Lukashenko, it turns out that people have been driven underground and are required to admit that the Israelis are right.
The head of state emphasized that neither the Israeli nor the Palestinian people need conflict and war, they want to live in peace and raise their children. Lukashenko also pointed out the impossibility of resolving the issue by force, since it will only lead to escalation and drawing new countries into this conflict.
