Lukashenko approved the immunity of the President of Belarus after leaving office

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a law amending the legislation concerning the activities of the head of state.

Among other things, the amendments include guarantees for the president leaving office. Among them are immunity, including for family members, and the allocation of real estate with security.

The law also defines the requirements for the president: he can become a citizen by birth who is at least 40 years old, who has lived in the country for at least 20 years and who does not have documents from foreign countries.
