President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced the occupation of his youngest son Nikolai. According to the Belarusian leader, the 18-year-old heir became interested in biotechnology.
According to the Chinese Xinhua news agency, Lukashenka said in an interview that his son is studying biotechnology as part of a joint project between Belarus and China. Earlier, the Belarusian media wrote that Nikolai Lukashenko applied to the biology faculty of the Belarusian State University to study a new specialty – “Biotechnology” under the Chinese program. This information has not been officially confirmed. In November 2022, the ceremony of launching a joint agro-industrial project of the two countries for the production of animal feed and amino acids took place in the Minsk region.
In a recent interview, the politician noted that the implementation of the project became possible “only thanks to the decision of Xi Jinping,” the President of China.
“Therefore, both personal and state are here,” Lukashenka quotes Xinhua. “And my history of my presidency is closely connected with China.”
