President of Belarus Lukashenko called disinformation reports about the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said he did not trust reports of Ukraine’s impending counteroffensive. He announced this to the participants of the meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly in Minsk.
“The biggest disinformation is this counter-offensive,” Lukashenka said. “From my point of view, there is no counter-offensive and there cannot be.”
He explained his point of view by saying that “it’s just crazy” – “one to five at the front to fight on equipment and manpower.” At the same time, he noted that disinformation is potentially dangerous in any conflict, and cited the Battle of Kursk during the Second World War as an example: “We successfully misinformed the enemy and won.”
