Lukashenka presented the first laptop made in Belarus

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko presented the first computer produced in the country, which, according to him, contains 12% Belarusian parts, informs BelTA agency.
“I specifically asked that this product be brought to our meeting today – the first computer that our smart people gave me. They were given the task of “staggering” around the world, finding the best of what we cannot create yet, and creating this computer,” Lukashenka said at an open lesson “Historical memory is the road to the future.”
According to him, the computer was created at the Belarusian plant Gorizont. By the end of the year, it may consist of 30% of the parts. The head of state expressed confidence that it would be the most modern computer at the level of world standards.
Earlier today, Lukashenka also instructed to intensify work with Russia on import substitution. This was stated by the Ambassador of Belarus in Moscow Dmitry Krutoy. “The Russian side has already approved seven specific enterprises, for which the corresponding passports have already been drawn up. The President noted that a financial scheme should be urgently formed for this,” he said.
