In the first match after a week and a half break in the KHL, HC Sochi lost to Yaroslavl Lokomotiv. The opponent won by a small margin of one point. Yaroslavl and Sochi residents met on the ice of the Arena-2000-Lokomotiv UKRC on December 19.

The Leopards opened the score in the 12th minute. Kirill Petkov became the author of the only goal of the Sochi team. Severstal will become the next rival of the Sochi team. The teams will meet in Cherepovets on December 21 at the Ice Palace site of UIA.
