A few months after the start of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, Lolita took her family to Moscow, and she had the opportunity to speak openly. So, on the air of NTV, she was asked what she thinks about the fact that many artists are leaving Russia. Lolita said that she would not go abroad, because she did not want to live where you need to look for people who are ready to smile back.
“I feel good in Russia. I will share absolutely everything with her. It so happened that since 1987 I automatically married Russia. Personally, this state gave me, probably, everything, ”she emphasized.
The singer also remembered how she managed to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. They once worked together. According to Lolita, Zelensky needed to be in show business, and not get into politics.
“I was in love with Zelensky, as in the best producer. But for me, this is another proof of what I was talking about before all these events. There is no need for artists to engage in politics, ”she added.
