Yaroslavl “railwaymen” lost the away match to Magnitogorsk “Metallurg”.
Magnitogorsk held the initiative from the very beginning of the match. In the first period, the home team opened the scoring. It was not possible to compare Lokomotiv. In the second game segment the score has not changed. And the third one was very tense. “Magnitogorsk” hit the gates of Isaev twice. And only at the end of the third period, Lokomotiv managed to hit the opponent’s goal. Andrei Sergeev, with the filing of Chekhovich and Polunin, was able to score two years with a difference of three minutes – at the 54th and 57th minute of the match.
At the very end of the period, Lokomotiv removed the goalkeeper. But the 5×6 game didn’t help to level the score and move the confrontation into overtime. The result of the match is 3-2, Lokomotiv is going home to start the home series of games.
