On February 25, the team of the Yaroslavl hockey club “Lokomotiv” lost to the Ekaterinburg “Avtomobilist” in an away match.
Lokomotiv announced the strongest lineup for the match. But even with this “configuration” the team was unable to overcome Avtomobilist on its field.

The result of the meeting is 0-2. Lokomotiv finishes the regular season in third place in the West Conference table. But his opponent in the first round of the playoffs has not yet been determined.
The most likely opponent in the first round remains CSKA, which knocked Lokomotiv out of the playoffs twice. But everything will be decided finally only based on the results of the matches of the “West” conference, which will be played on February 26.
What is certain is that Lokomotiv finished third in the regular season. And it will start the playoffs on its home field.
