Lokomotiv and Krasnodar played 1:1, while Dynamo beat CSK 2:1

In the fifth round of the Russian Football Championship, the first misfire was made by Krasnodar, which played at home with Lokomotiv in a draw – 1: 1. Now he shares the lead with Ural, who defeated Baltika away – 1:0. They got 13 points each. Dynamo came in third with ten points thanks to a 2-1 victory over CSKA.

Before the main event of the fifth round, which will be the Sunday confrontation between Spartak and Zenit, two more big matches took place in the Russian championship. We met at the VTB Arena “Dynamo” And CSKA. The army team after the defeat at the start of the “Ural” won three times in a row. Dynamo also caught the wave, defeating Zenit and Baltika. And in the standings, the teams were separated by only two points.

Not to say that the blue and white started the derby badly. They attacked even more often, and Denis Makarov had a good chance to open an account. But the ball did not land on his foot, and the Dynamo midfielder launched it into the upper tier of the podium outside the goal. But CSKA scored almost from the first entry into someone else’s penalty area. Kirill Glebov brought out Maxim Mukhin. Goalkeeper Anton Shunin coped with it, but the forward of the army team Anton Zabolotny deftly played on finishing, being at a very sharp angle.

Then the hosts attacked again, again Makarov was on the ball in front of the goal and ruined the moment, but the guests almost caught Shunin by surprise. Opornik Sasha Zdelar ventured an ultra-long shot from his half of the field, and the Dynamo goalkeeper barely managed to catch the ball, which was already falling in a high arc into the net. In addition, Marcel Lichka’s team could have conceded on set pieces, and CSKA central defender Willian Rocha forgave them in general when he missed from close range after a corner.

Somehow, it was absolutely not evident that they played again without Igor Akinfeev. With 19-year-old Vladislav Torop in the “frame”, the army team also felt quite confident, but the Dynamo did not check him. But in the debut of the second half, his own defender Kirill Nababkin gave him a test. An experienced football player made a gross mistake, which led to the fact that Mumi Ngamalyo jumped out one on one with Torop and rolled back the ball.

And in general, after the break, the white and blue already looked better. They were supposed to score the second goal, but Makarov continued to carelessly squander moments. It is simply incomprehensible how he did not hit the open target from six meters when Fedor Smolov did everything for him. As a result, then the best scorer of CSKA Fedor Chalov could punish his opponent for extravagance. Shunin rescued.

And at the end of the match, luck nevertheless turned to face Dynamo. Left-back Dmitry Skopintsev sharply joined the attack and delivered a dangerous shot from outside the penalty area, which Zabolotny blocked with his hand. An obvious penalty was converted by Smolov, although Torop almost reached the ball. In the very end, Lichka’s wards missed a few more scoring opportunities, but the 2-1 victory certainly satisfied them. Dynamo scored ten points and outstripped CSKA, moving up to third place.

IN Krasnodar club of the same name hosted “Locomotive”. Kuban, taking 12 points in four rounds, led the Premier League. True, just before the match they were beaten by Ural, which beat Baltika 1:0 in Kaliningrad and became the first with 13 points. The outcome of this meeting was decided by a goal from a penalty kick by Alexei Kashtanov.

The railroad workers had only five points in their luggage, nevertheless, of course, they should not be considered outsiders of the confrontation with Krasnodar. Indeed, in the rivalry of these teams it was difficult to give preference to someone, but in the middle of the first half, the guests missed the run into the penalty area of ​​Sergei Volkov, and their goalkeeper Ilya Lantratov violated the rules against the Krasnodar defender. Referee Yevgeny Kukulyak pointed to the “point”, and the black-and-greens’ regular penalty shooter Eduard Spertsyan went to beat. However, he, as it turned out, is not iron. Spertsyan missed.

At the same time, his miss somehow additionally motivated the hosts, who tried by common efforts to correct the mistake of their leader. Lokomotiv had to go back and mostly do the rough work, which he did well. Before the break, the Krasnodar team did not come up with anything special in the positional attack, just like the Muscovites in the counterattacks. But in the second half, Vladimir Ivic’s team managed to organize an early goal. After Lantratov parried with difficulty an unpleasant blow from Juan Bashi, Ilzat Akhmetov finished off the ball into an empty net.

The troubles for the guests did not end there. The same Spertsyan from the standard hit the crossbar. And in the future, it was much more alarming in the rear of the railway workers. Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov practically did not enter the game, which, on the other hand, is not surprising, judging by how the Kuban players act in defense in the current championship. Previously, they conceded only one goal. And now everything was going to their dry victory, but in the last minute of the match, Lokomotiv delivered the ball into the penalty area with an out, and Anton Miranchuk saved his team from defeat with a magnificent volley. A 1-1 draw allowed Krasnodar to return to first place, while in terms of points it now shares the lead with Ural.
