Lokomotiv and Baltika tied in the playoffs of the Russian Football Cup

The football club of the Kaliningrad region “Baltika” and the Moscow “Lokomotiv” finished the first match of the 1/4 finals of the RPL Path of the Russian Cup. The game ended in a draw with a score of 2:2.
The first goal was scored against Baltika in the 16th minute of the match by Timur Suleymanov. In the 65th minute, Tigran Avanesyan equalized the score. Then Nathan Gassama scored another goal against Baltika. In the third minute of extra time, Lokomotiv equalized the score thanks to Timur Suleymanov’s second goal.
The game took place in Kaliningrad. The return match is scheduled in Moscow for March. The winner of the two games will advance to the semi-finals of the RPL Path. The losing team will enter the Path of Regions bracket.
