Basketball players of the Krasnodar Lokomotiv-Kuban took the lead in the semifinal series of the United League against CSKA Moscow. The third match was held in the “Basket Hall” in the presence of 4404 spectators.

The result of the match was 84:81 (11:25, 30:25, 12:19, 31:12) in favor of the hosts. The game initially developed unsuccessfully for Krasnodar. But the final period was a great success for Loko, they were able to score more than 30 points. A minute and a half before the end, American Chris Horton scored in the aisle with a foul and added a bonus free kick – 82:81. Loko took the lead for the first time in the match. Then Krasnodar successfully defended, and the American Jaylen Burford made free throws – 84:81. The last three-point shot of the guests performed by Dallas Moore from the United States was inaccurate.

For the second time in a row, Loko’s top scorer was American Okaro White – 18 points. His compatriot Jaylen Burford and Trinidadian Devon Acour Purcell scored 17 each, 10 from Vladislav Yemchenko, 9 each from Andrey Martyuk and Chris Horton.

As part of CSKA, Casper Weir from the USA has 24 points, Alexey Shved has 16.

The series will last up to 4 victories. Rivals in Moscow played 1:1. The teams will meet again in Krasnodar on April 22. The fifth match will take place on April 25 in Moscow.
