Liya Andreeva won a ticket to the European Checkers Championship

Liya Andreeva became the champion of the Russian championship in Russian checkers, scoring the maximum number of points. The Russian Championship in Russian drafts among younger ages ended in Samara. More than 200 young athletes from all regions of the country took part in the tournament.
In the classic tournament for girls under 11 years old, Liya scored 15 points, ahead of Milana Dubovenko (Saratov), Sofia Dudnik (Nizhny Novgorod region) and Alesya Lisina (Udmurtia) in additional indicators.
The young athlete won the right to represent Russia at the European Championships.
Interestingly, Liya Aleksandrovna already won the Russian tournament in Russian checkers when she was in first grade in 2022, taking first place in Russia.
