“Live the Dream”: figure skating competitions were held in Astrakhan

In Astrakhan, at the Winter Sports Center, an open figure skating championship “Live the Dream – 2022” was held. The tournament was attended by 140 athletes from the Astrakhan region and the Republic of Kalmykia. Competitions were held according to a special program. The numbers of the skaters included technically complex elements.
Astrakhan athletes go to competitions in other regions of the country. Since 2017, official sports competitions have been held for pupils of the Astrakhan Federation of Figure Skating “Constellation”, including the “Live the Dream” championship.
Today, 1,300 children train at the Winter Sports Center. The children’s hockey team Astrakhan Hawks also plays at the ice palace.
