Lipetsk walruses swam in icy water at the winter swimming championship

Endurance and frost resistance were tested by 69 people at the Lipetsk winter swimming championship. Competitions were held in the regional center among 44 men and 25 women aged 18 to 71 years. The participants, who came from Moscow, Dankov, Tambov, Michurinsk, the Moscow region, swam in icy water 25, 50 or 200 meters freestyle. There was also a super marathon distance of 400 meters.
Formerly Lipetsk walruses took part in the All-Russian campaign “Scarred Russia – Strong Country” (0+). They plunged into the hole with the whole country.
And already on February 4, Lipetsk will host the fourth stage of the open winter swimming tournament “Friendship Cup” (0+). Registration open.
