Lipetsk residents won 8 medals at the Central Federal District judo championship. The event was a three-day event.
From October 6 to 8, the Central Federal District Judo Championship among boys and girls under 18 years old was held at the Molodezhny Sports Complex.
Almost 600 athletes from 17 regions of Russia took part in the fight for victory. Local judokas have achieved high achievements and will go to the Russian Championships, which will take place in Barnaul.
Two local judoists, Egor Tanshin and Daniil Kuchin, took gold. Three silver medals were received by Ilya Pilyaev, Kirill Zubkov, Kira Bizina. The athletes also added 3 bronze medals to their collection.
According to the results of the competition, in the overall team standings, the boys took 2nd place, the girls – 6-8 places.
