Lipetsk hosts a special hockey tournament

The Cup of Equals Special Hockey Tournament kicked off at the Zvezdny Sports Palace in Lipetsk. It is dedicated to Autism Awareness Day.
Teams of special players from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Lipetsk will compete on the ice for two days (April 1st and 2nd).
Today, April 2, in addition to the matches, the participants will have master classes at the Fern Flower Social Rehabilitation Center. Hockey players will make candles, soap and other things.
Special hockey teams feature players with Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, and other mental disabilities. Specialty hockey is a non-contact sport, there are no offsides and penalties.
