In July, in four regions of the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts, problems with energy supply and transport communications are possible due to adverse weather conditions.
The All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergencies (VNII GOChS) warns of storm winds with gusts of up to 25 meters per second and heavy precipitation. According to the report, in the first decade of July in the territory of the Republic of Buryatia, the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Irkutsk Region and the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, failures in the life support systems of the population are possible.
Such failures can lead to the restriction of transport links and disruption of power supply to settlements. This can lead to serious consequences for the inhabitants of these regions. Scientists of the All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations also note that the situation in the European part of Russia is similar, but with a lower likelihood of emergency situations. However, in the south of Karelia, as well as in the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Leningrad, Pskov and Novgorod regions, there is still a certain risk of adverse weather conditions. Such problems can seriously impede the lives of local residents, so it is important to be prepared for the possible consequences. In case of emergencies, it is necessary to follow the warnings and recommendations from local authorities and emergency services in order to minimize risks and ensure the safety of all citizens.
