“The goal is to sow panic and chaos”

Ukraine has stepped up terrorist activities in Russia. This activation may be associated with the impending large offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is aimed at sowing chaos and panic within Russian society. This was stated by “MK” a member of the presidium of the All-Russian organization “Officers of Russia” lieutenant colonel in the reserve Roman Shkurlatov.

Immediately after Victory Day, several channels reported strange drones in different parts of Moscow. Allegedly, they fell in the Bitsevsky forest and the Lomonosovsky district in the South-West of Moscow. True, the Kremlin did not confirm this information.

Earlier in May, there was a resonant attack by Ukrainian drones on the Kremlin, as well as an attempt on the life of the writer and politician Zakhar Prilepin. Ukrainian drone attacks on the Crimea, Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk regions are becoming almost regular. According to Roman Shkurlatov, all these events are interconnected.

“In the last week,” he said, “we have seen the intensification of attempts by the Ukrainian regime to destabilize the situation in the Russian Federation. This includes numerous, almost daily attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles, attempts at terrorist acts, ranging from the burning of forests in Tyumen and today’s detention of saboteurs in Balashikha near Moscow who were trying to harm a military unit.

We see that this wave is growing. For what purpose is this being done? I believe that this is an attempt by Ukraine to chaoticize the internal life in the Russian Federation, to create an illusion in society that everything is going wrong, that the authorities do not control the situation and cannot cope with it. All this is done on the eve of their big offensive, and all these are links in one chain.

Apparently, Kyiv and its curators see the attack against us as a complex event. On the one hand, the chaos of internal life, the undermining of confidence in the authorities, law enforcement agencies, law enforcement agencies. And on the other hand, the activation of actions at the front, where, as analysts predict, there will be a big offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the near future.

But directly linking what is happening at the front and what is happening inside the country is a mistake. The stability of our defense and the productivity of our offensive operations in the NVO zone depend little on what happens on the so-called “mainland”.

The logic of the enemy, who thinks that by chaoticizing our inner life, he will somehow be able to facilitate his task at the front on the eve of his offensive, is a strong delusion.

On the other hand, we need to understand that the pressure on us will grow, as well as attempts to attack or imitate attacks. Kyiv has not abandoned the task of creating an atmosphere of nervousness within our country. This will only intensify. Under these conditions, it is impossible to shift all responsibility to law enforcement agencies and special services.

Of course, there is a zone of responsibility of the state and it will be responsible for it as much as possible in the person of special services of law enforcement agencies. But you also have to rely on yourself.

We must understand that we live in a difficult time, when the risks, including the terrorist threat, have greatly increased. We must each for ourselves and for our relatives become both a security service and law enforcement agencies. We must take a responsible approach to everything that happens around us.
